Shalini Sequeira

Shalini is an executive coach and leadership development practitioner. She works with her clients to support those in transition to their first or subsequent leadership roles, as well as supporting them when they get there. She also has a strong interest in equity and inclusion, particularly the part individual, group and team coaching can play in creating more diverse leadership teams.

She has worked with clients in a range of sectors, including finance, law, academia, government, the NHS, global development and charities, retail and pharmaceuticals. She gives some of her coaching time pro bono; recent work has included coaching those living with cancer, refugees, and facilitating the programme and coaching women changemakers on a leadership development programme run by a social enterprise.

Before Aretai, Shalini had a career as a senior finance lawyer at Shearman & Sterling (and before that Norton Rose) and also had a number of legal roles in-house.  She went on to become a leadership development specialist, working with lawyers at Addleshaw Goddard on their business and leadership skills – before becoming an independent leadership consultant and an executive coach. She has worked and lived globally.

Shalini qualified as coach with Coaching Development and is a member of the International Coaching Federation. She holds a Diploma in Coaching and has been credentialled as a coach by the International Coaching Federation at ACC level.
