Colette is a coach, facilitator and seasoned HR professional who is passionate about helping leaders and their teams to connect on a deeply human level to bring our their best and generate results. Drawing upon over 30 years’ experience in the professional services sector, she has extensive experience of supporting businesses through significant change, combining strong business skills with a passion for enabling organisations and people to thrive.
Her interest in leadership development is one fuelled by a mixture of knowledge and experience of what works, drawing on many years as an HR professional. She is motivated to help people bridge the gap between their current performance and their potential. She has a particular interest in supporting technical experts who are wanting to extend their leadership capabilities.
Colette started her career as a Chartered Accountant, followed by senior HR roles at Arthur Andersen and Deloitte. Prior to joining Aretai she was HR Director at Michelmores LLP, a mid-sized law firm. As a senior leader she has led and implemented a variety of projects spanning leadership development, talent management, organisational design and culture change. She has been involved in strategy creation and execution, operating at Board level.
Colette has a Masters in Organisation and People Development from the highly regarded Roffey Park Institute. She is a Meyler Campbell trained business coach, accredited EMCC coach and accredited Time to Think Coach. She is a graduate of Bath University, having studied Maths, and is a member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development.
